Jay-Z is coming to Philly, along with 28 other acts, a Budweiser Music Fest. Jay and Beyonce are bringing in mega bucks for their upcoming holiday performances. Action News has confirmed Jay-Z will announce a multi-day music festival is coming to Philadelphia Labor Day weekend.
Sources confirm to Action News the rapper and entertainment mogul alongside Mayor Michael Nutter will announce the music festival at 10:30 a.m. today at the steps of the Art Museum.
Speculation has been brewing what the announcement would be since it was learned Jay-Z would be appearing in Philly.
The New York Times reports the music day festival will take place September 1st and 2nd in Fairmount Park.
The Times reports Jay-Z will be “the curator of and headlining performer at the first Budweiser Made in America music festival.”
28 music acts will attend the festival and tickets will be available online, the Times says.
Action News and 6abc.com will have the exact details when the announcement is made later this morning.
