  MJJ I still cry on her anniversary death. She was my inspiration when I was a young girl. She was beautiful and poised. I was shocked when she married r Kelly but I still like her music and her style. When she took a little hiatus and popped back on the scene I was enthused. We need more Aaliyah’s she was a role model to many showing us that in life you make mistakes you learn from it and move on. Happiness is all that matters right ?

  I remember her(Aaliyah) in 1994 when she first came out with her new album. I was in my late 20s at the time. I thought how could somone so young be so talented. She sounded like someone well beyound their years. When I heard she was married to R Kelley around 1997 I did not believe it. Now I guess it was true. I followed her career up until I was 35 years of age. I was a big fan of hers as well as Luther Vandross and Maxwells. I remember hearing on the news about the plane crash and her death of herself all the other passengers on board. I was in shock and felt very sad. I am still sad to this day. I just got the news her father passed away this past year of 2012. I am also in shock with that news but I always suspected he was not well. He did not look well in the family photos. My heart goes out to the Haughton family for the recent lost. I will pray for them. I hope mother Haughton and brother Rashad will stay close to one another and hang out tight to God’s unchanging hand and stay close to other family members and friends. God Bless and rest in peace Baby Girl and Daddy Haughton.

  I am now an old man the age of 47 but I will always be a fan of Aaliyahs and again God Bless to the Haughton family.

  The new Album cover is beautiful it embodies her spirit, grace, and talent. Great job!!! I really like it.
