Meek Mill Detained In Philly

The famed rapper Meek Mill born and raised in Philly was detained before his album release party, a real Dreams and Nightmare situation. Apparently Meek was caught up in a live stop in Philly and detained long enough to miss his album release Party.

Talking ish about Philly’s DA, probably didn’t make things any better over here in his hometown, referencing the assistant district attorney Noel Ann DeSantis on his track “The Ride.” Meek was told to “tread lightly” in court by DeSantis for these lyrics: “The D.A. said she hate me but I don’t understand/When I just rocked a show in front of 50,000 fans/I think that bitch racist, she probably in a clan.”….

There isn’t really freedom of speech these days….words can cause nightmares. The MMG rapper found out first hand that these n*ggas can hold him back, and hit his pockets too. He just dropped his album the same week as Sandy, and Now he has the boys in blue on his trail…all because he’s famous, so he said in a number of tweets….

“I ain’t get locked up…definitely not in NYC with no gun!” he wrote. “Cops just harassed and violated me last night in Philly just for being famous!”

“cops cost me a lot of money tonight …..taking pics of me like I’ma fuckin joke….no charges just holding.”

“The crazy part about it is I really had a handcuff and Rolex on my wrist yesterday…. Really #DreamsAndNightmares”

On the bright side his album projections are looking damn good despite Hurricane Sandy and all the fury she unleashed, his album might push 200k in it’s first week.
