Chris Rock Replaces Robin Thicke In Real Husbands Of Hollywood

Real Husband’s of Hollywood Season 1 made great ratings for BET so it’s no surprise that season 2 is going all out, and some changes effective immediately has taken place. Robin Thick our favorite swaggalicious white boy is being replaced with no other than funny man Chris Rock.

Chris Rock is in the building and if you thought the show was funny then, hell with Kevin Hart, JB Smooth, Anthony Anderson, and Chris Rock all on one set ….it’s on now. Even though I enjoyed salivating over Robin Thick and would have leaned more to Dwayne Martin kicking rocks I have no choice but to deal with it.

Bow-Wow The New Addition To Bet’s 106 & Park

As we say goodbye to Terrence and Rocsi, Bet will continue to move forward with Bow Wow, Miss Mykie, Dj Shorty Da Prince, and Paigon. You all heard the news yesterday.

While some are still scratching their head trying to figure out what the hell was going on with Bow Wow when he accepted this gig, and all the rest of you who already know about that child support and those arrears…then you already know.

I think this is a good move for Bow Wow, a chance for him to get his feet wet again, draw nearer to the kiddie crowd he tried to shun away from, and get his money straight. As he moves forward with hosting he can pump and promote himself in a whole new light……repackaged goods….. if Tity boi can do it anyone can.

Bow-Wow still has that boyish charm, so maybe we will get the chance to see him step it and get his grown man on right before our eyes.

Is Bet’s 106 & Park Coming To An End ????

Global Grind reports that 106 & Park tweeted out the following tweet a few hours ago: “We sadly announce that on September 28th, 2012, we will air our last episode.” We were told by our source that show will tape its last episode this Friday, September 21. However, it appears that the show won’t go off the air until September 28.

After 12 years on the air, BET’s beloved “106 & Park” is coming to an end. An inside source at BET has informed Global Grind that the show will be going off the air after its last show this Friday, September 21.

It does not come as a full surprise as hosts Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz gave an emotional announcement back in May that they were ready to move on.

With Rocsi making plans to pursue her career in entertainment and Terrence already signed on to co-host “E! News” with Giuliana Rancic, the network has no confirmed replacements and has decided to end gracefully.

With too many memories to count, we’re sure it will be an emotional ending that we won’t want to miss.

LAUREN LONDON JOINS BET’S THE GAME AND REPLACES TIA MOWRY

Lauren London joins the Game and replaces Tia Mowry. She has snagged the role Kiera , a 20 year old former child star who has been in the spotlight her entire life and is struggling to transition into an adult actor, with that being said I can see her nailing that role.

The actress has also appeared in Reed Between The Lines, Single Ladies, and Madea’s Big Happy Family. Producers are also on the lookout for an actor to play an all-star running back. Both roles are intended to fill the void left by departing cast members Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall (aka Melanie and Derwin).

Back for the new season are Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell, Hosea Chanchez, Brandy Norwood and Barry A. Floyd.

Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall Cut from The Game Confirmed by BET

Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall will not be returning to The Game Season Six is a shocker. Over the years we have all bonded with their characters, and we hate to see them go. It appears to be a done deal, so it’s farewell.

All good things come to an end.

BET Networks has issued an official statement regarding Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry’s future on The Game:

“After five seasons on The Game, Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry will not return as regular cast members on season six on BET Networks.

As a result of Pooch’s involvement on a new project, BET is in the process of reworking the casting and storyline of the show. That said, we hope both Pooch and Tia will make several guest appearances.

While we will miss the incredible adventures of Melanie and Derwin on The Game, we appreciate all of their hard work, the laughs and wish them both the best on their future endeavors.

Season six will continue to feature the amazing Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell, Hosea Chanchez, Brandy Norwood and of course, Barry A. Floyd.

Mediajuicejoint- Well at least we will get to see The Tia and Tamara Show, and Pooch has been expanding into the Big Screens so hope to see more of him as well. They are two talented actors that I’m quite sure will continue to make good strive …..So I change that Farewell to Look forward to seeing them soon in their next endeavors.

BET PRESENTED BLACK GIRLS ROCK 2011

BET aired Black Girls Rock last night and it was awesome. To see so many intelligent strong beautiful black ladies and young ladies in the room was phenomonal. BET has been putting out some real good programs lately but this one took the cake. The show was so inspiring to say the least. To see positivity at this level was refreshing. The accomplishments of the younger ladies was just a good image to our young black sistas, keeping them encouraged and focused.

To give back to someone less fortunate is the best feeling in the world. We all know how to receive but to give is an area that can always use improvement. To teach our young ladies that they are beautiful inside and out, to encourage them, and to instill in them that they are smart and will grow up to make a difference is important and can not be stressed enough.

Black Girls Rock performances and speeches were astounding and uplifting. The ladies did a wonderful job. Jill Scott spoken word knocked me out and then she topped it with” Hate On Me“, I was star struck. Mary J Blige performance put the cherry on top, she is another performer I’ve never missed in Philly or Jersey. Melonie Fiona, Estelle and Eryka Badu were fantastic. They even had Elle Varner a stunning new artist that performed her song titled ” I Only Wanna Give It To You” had me up on my feet doing my infamous two step. Beverly Bond I want to thank you for giving our young people a positive image of self to reflect on and also the inspiriational spiral effect. The teens who were at my house enjoyed the program and started thinking of ways they can help others, the brainstormers are going to do their first toy drive cudos. REED BETWEEN THE LINES PREMIERED BLACK LOVE AT IT’S BEST

BET “Reed between the Lines” sitcom is something I will keep my eye on. It reminded me of the Cosby Show….. which is a good thing. Story line flowed at a nice pace and the gravity between Malcolm and Tracee appeared natural. Shockingly I liked the role of Robin Givens instead of a money starving thirsty chic, she was a sex crazed fiend. Robin is a good actress, well for that skit anyway it was believable.

Reed Between the Lines will get my support because not too many shows are out there promoting Black Love, Respect and Being Capable of Nurturing Meaningful Relationships. I hope they don’t switch out the little girl for a lighter fair skin complected person. Even though times have changed and consumers not all, love seeing drama and reality shows I have my fingers crossed for Reed Between the Lines to be infectious.
