Notorious B.I.G. Autopsy Results Damn Near 15 Years Later

Long Live The King, The Notorious B.I.G. R.I.P.

Notorious B.I.G. autopsy results released to the public after damn near 15 years have passed. His tragic death is still an unsolved mystery, even though there were hundreds of witnesses, plenty of speculation and finger pointing, but shockingly not enough evidence.

This report re-opens the wounds of hip hop, making us go back and revisit that dreaded day when Christopher Wallace known to the world as Biggie Smalls was gunned down in cold blood as he was leaving a hip hop awards show.

Christopher Wallace sustained gunshot wounds to his chest, shoulder, leg, forearm and scrotum on the night he was murdered in L.A. back in 1997 … this according to the never-before-seen autopsy report, just obtained by TMZ.

The report confirms Wallace — who was listed at 6’1″, 395 lbs — was struck a total of 4 times in a drive-by shooting on Wilshire Blvd while the 24-year-old rapper sat in the passenger seat of a Chevy Suburban.

According to the report, 3 of the shots were NOT fatal.

– Gunshot #1 struck Wallace in the left forearm and traveled down to his wrist.

– Gunshot #2 struck Wallace in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder.

– Gunshot #3 struck Wallace on his outer left thigh and exited through his inner left thigh.

The reports says .. after Gunshot #3 exited the thigh, “the projectile strikes the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration.”

The fatal bullet was Gunshot #4 … which entered Wallace’s body through his right hip and ripped its way through several vital organs … before coming to rest in his left shoulder area.

According to the report, the bullet perforated Wallace’s colon, liver, heart and the upper lobe of his left lung.

Immediately after the shooting Wallace was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital — where doctors performed an emergency thoracotomy … but it was too late. Wallace was pronounced dead at 1:15 AM.

According to the report, all 4 of the gunshots traveled through the Suburban passenger door before striking Wallace. Two of the bullets were found on the gurney that transported Wallace to the hospital. Another bullet was discovered at the hospital when the body was turned over after doctors had pronounced him dead.

During the autopsy, the coroner listed Wallace as “morbidly obese.” A toxicology test revealed Wallace had no traces of drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death.

Wallace’s body was eventually ID’d by his mother and wife.

One last thing … on one of the pages of the autopsy report, there is a note scribbled under the headline “Other Pertinent Information” which reads: “Decedent may be rap singer.”

Wallace was 24.

Mjj says, We’ll always love Big Poppa, may his soul continue to rest in peace.

Long Live The King The Notorious B.I.G. R.I.P.

It’s been 15 long years since we lost Christopher Wallace, aka the legendary Notorious B.I.G. The Greatest Of All Time. Biggie only inked to Albums “Ready to Die ” and “Life After Death“, but in that short period of time Biggie was able to change the rap game and restore the East Coast, putting us back on the map.

Big Poppa made rapping look effortless, minus the wheezing. He was the first rapper I heard say he doesn’t scribble down lines, he spit from the dome. I remember my first time hearing him on Super Cat song “Dolly My Baby” with Third Eye and Puff, I was so hyped. I had just got my permit, and I was driving my pops car blasting my tape

When I saw Biggie in “Juicy” video and how he gave the run down from being poor to rich, it was almost like he was fam, I was happy he got put on and was making money. I knew he was the sh*t but when I heard “Warning” which is my my fav I was through, I copped it and memorized every line, that I can recite flawless to this day.

Biggie cranked out “Hypnotize” I thought it couldn’t get any better. I rushed home from school to see Rap City on BET for the video premiere which was the hottest with the girls swimming underwater, Big on a boat living in the lap of luxury, I must admit I was memorized.

It was that same show that delivered the dreadful news that Big was hit in a drive by shooting leaving the awards show and I was floored, it would be the second time I felt deep sorrow for a person I didn’t know personally, the first was Marvin Gaye. Biggie is the best that has ever done it, The Greatest Rapper of All Time, and We still Miss him and Remember The Notorious B.I.G 15 years later…..R.I.P.

top photo credit: IN FLEX WE TRUST…Tune in to Hot 97 tonight @7 pm. Mister Cee is doing a nonstop 3 hour tribute to Biggie, you don’t want to miss it…..he’s going all out, including unreleased tracks, sh*t you ain’t never heard before, new mixes, and more.

Cover of Notorious (Single-Disc Edition)

I am a hip hop junkie and my range in taste is crazy. I love a rapper who makes you think, not to concerned with beats. I like a crazy asz flow and metaphors. When I am listening I want to say damn let me replay that what the fu*^ did I just here. So as I ‘m sitting in the barbershop I was asked who’s my all time favorite rapper? It was hard for me to come up with just one because I have a couple of choices right from the head but I  choose one and I also gave them my top five.

I had to Say Notorious, there isn’t a song he wrote that I didn’t love to death. He was the top of the food chain, he changed the rap game, No more dancing around, except for Diddy but I imagine it’s hard to get his ancy asz to sit the fu>* down.  No more catchy chorus just 16 bars of pure unadulterated shi*.

JayZ is another one who can drop em with a few hit and misses, but those misses are very far in between…. No need for paper and pen straight from the dome and it’s hot, you have to respect it. Lil Wayne he’s the metaphor Master right now, “woman of my dreams I cant sleep cause I can’t find her”.

Rick Ross is the slick rick of rap he can tell a story and have you hanging on to every word. Meek Millz started from the bottom running straight up to the top the young boi has arrived and you damn sure gonna recognize. He spits that fire unlike any other. He is in the arena for good, and holding his own. As I ‘m sitting there everybody shouting, cursing, ready to fight, I thought this is a very interesting topic. TELL ME WHO IS THE  GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME ?
