The Dream speaks to Sway from MTV about Rihanna and Chris Brown collabo remix with The Dream’s penned song “Cake”. I have a new found respect for The Dream, he didn’t throw Chris Brown under the bus and he didn’t scorn and crucify Rihanna either.
The Dream is talking about second chances, reconciliation and standing behind your friend’s decisions. This interview comes at a time of high public scrutiny about Rihanna and Chris Brown’s hooking up on a track after their altercation 3 years ago. Will The Dream’s career take one for the team?
Sway conducted this interview beautifully, asking all the questions that the fans want answers to. I am a music connoisseur and I’ve learned to separate music from the man. The remix to cake is provocative, an industry no- no,tainted somewhat, rebellious, and damn good,…..I can listen to it all day. Great creative juices from two hot artist.
What Rihanna and Breezy does in their personal life is their business and for all of those people looking at them to be role models to kids is placing too much responsibility on the wrong couple…….it should be the first and for most couple Mom and Dad. Parents and care givers talk to your kids and have an open dialogue with them. Explain how a man is supposed to treat a woman and vice versa, so when they see Rihanna and Chris brown together what you believe and what you have taught them will take precedence over what they see in the public…..I’m getting off my box and I’m on my way to blast CAKE CAKE CAKE for my lunch time jam.
