Sh*t Black Girls Say has gone viral, and some black people are highly offended. As I watch the video and I start to laugh, the thought of people actually thinking that Black Women act in such a….. say anything whether it make sense or not, rolling of the neck, sucking of the teeth after every sentence, patting on hair, carefree way made we wake up, smell the coffee, and ask the question of the day…. How far have we advanced?
This type of black woman dramatization I have only seen on t.v. ok I’m lying maybe the hair patting…. when I am in the company of a certain hairdresser you know the one who goes by the name of Cristal, government name Chrystal works out of her mama kitchen….I’m sorry, I digress.
The more I watched the funnier it wasn’t and before the short video was over I became a little enraged. I had to ask myself Do we as African American Women behave in such a bizarre manner, is this the way people view us as a whole, was I being to sensitive.. it’s something about blacks degrading blacks just doesn’t sit well with me, or is it just a joke a bad joke hahahahaha.
