The last works of Whitney Houston is amazing. Jordin Sparks and Whitney’s video “Celebrate ” is refreshing. The vocals were arranged nicely, with both vocalist complimenting each other. The video has a party theme, with splashes of scenes from the movie, that included Whitney.
Jordin Sparks shared with BET her special on set memories of Whitney and making the video “Celebrate” without Whitney. “We planned on it being Whitney and me, but she’s not here, so we wanted to make it a tribute to her,” Sparks said. Sparkle is due in theaters Aug 17.
The movie is targeted to a young audience as well as the older audience that remembers the classic movie and of course want to see Whitney on the big screen again…….with this talented all star cast, I smell a blockbuster hit.
Bobbi Kristina’s Speech at the Billboard Awards was heartfelt, and Jordin Sparks tribute was beautiful and tastefully done. The Billboard Awards was Bobbi Kristina first appearance since her rock of Gibraltar, Whitney Houston passed away.
A tearful Bobbi Kristina with Pat Houston by her side accepted the Billboard Millennium Award on Whitney’s behalf. Bobbi Kristina said she “ just really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all.”Not just when it was good, but when it was bad too,” she said. “Thank you so much for showing that much love, ’cause she deserved it. There will never be another one, ever. I thank you so much.”

80'S BABIES REMEMBER WHEN YOU USE TO LUST OVER HIM???
Bobby Brown spills the tea about his drug use or lack of on the “Today” show. Brown the once deemed bad boy of R&B claims he wasn’t even using drugs when he met Whitney Houston.….. *side eye* He doesn’t have that gap in between his rock candy teeth for nothing.
Bobby Brown says he isn’t to blame for Whitney Houston’s deadly drug habit … claiming, “That was part of her life BEFORE we got together.”
Brown just appeared on the “Today” show … and told Matt Lauer, “I didn’t get high [on narcotics] before I met Whitney … I smoked weed and drank beer … but no, I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs … I’m not the reason she’s gone.”
Clearly, Brown doesn’t consider marijuana to be a narcotic … even though the U.S. Govt does.
Still, Brown says he hasn’t touched “narcotics” in 7 years … and says he was “hurt” to learn Whitney had been using again in her final days … saying, “I know she was struggling with it still.”
Brown concluded, “I can honestly say I love that woman with everything I am … I believe she loved me the same way.”
Mediajuicejoint- Bobby Brown aka MR. My Prerogative needs a foot up his asz, but somehow it’s sad to say that I believe part of his story, and it’s always three sides of the truth. It would be nice to see him be drug free, focused, and get back on track …if not for himself at least for his kids and their future.
American Idol winner Jordin Sparks gracefully covers the “Sparkle” poster. This highly anticipated movie is coming to theaters August 27th. A remake of the 1976 music-themed film of the same title, “Sparkle” was inspired by the story of The Supremes.
It follows the journey of the three Williams sisters, who begin singing in Harlem in the late 1950 before finding fame as a girl group. Their sudden rise, however, unravels their personal lives.
Jordin Sparks takes on the titled character, once played bY Irene Cara. This movie has a star studded cast consisting of Mike Epps, Omari Hardwick, Cee-Lo Green, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter and Derek Luke.
This is also Whitney Houston’slast role, and to see her on the silver screen and hear The Voice is exciting. I watched the trailer while waiting for Think Like A Man and everyone in the theater buzzed about “Sparkle“, and how it’s going to be an blockbuster hit.
Mediajuicejoint- Whitney Houston’s death was a shock to us all, now that her case is closed and there was no foul play involved maybe now, she can rest in peace, and the healing process can be UNINTERRUPTED.
Dr. Drew has started something, he had Bobby Brown’s family on his show and Bobby’s sister Leola says Ray J was nothing more than Whitney Houston’s runner, not her lover. Ray J is appalled at the accusations…..he claims he had no idea, Whitney was doing coke.
Ray J is pissed that people are accusing him of being Whitney’s enabler and, even worse, fueling her with the fatal dose of cocaine.
Ray J’s rep tells TMZ … the singer had NO KNOWLEDGE that Whitney was using again.
The rep says Ray J is especially upset at claims made by Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, who went on TV Thursday night and suggested Ray J was to blame for Whitney’s demise. Ray J says the claim is absolute B.S.
We’re told Ray J wasn’t even around Whitney the day she died. He was in San Diego.
MEDIAJUICEJOINT – The plot thickens, Bobby Brown’s sister Leola implies, while You’s were blaming Bobby Brown, Ray J was Whitney Houston’s new supplier, Leola caught him leaving the Hotel right after Whitney’s body was discovered, trying to cover his face…..
Someone had the nerve to take it further stating he was the supplier of the lethal dose……Now, that’s just wrong on some many levels in my Uncle Ruckus voice, no relations .
Check out the Browns interview with Dr. Drew it’s shocking, sad, and unbelievable all wrapped up in one……..
Bobby Brown’s sister Leola
Bobby Brown’s Nephews
This is really going to be a true Never Ending Saga…Oprah you should have had them on your networks this would have your ratings up for sure!!!
One More Nephew with another twist..
Weigh in and tell me if this has some truth or just plain BAFOONERY.…..
Cissy Houston — Whitney Houston’s mom — has reacted fiercely to the video we posted Wednesday … showing Bobbi Kristina and Whitney’s “adopted” son Nick Gordon in a romantic grip, and then kissing (below).
Cissy told a close friend, “What they’re doing is incestuous.” Cissy feels her granddaughter has problems and Nick is taking advantage of her.
Although Whitney never formally adopted Nick, she considered him her son and Bobbi called him her brother. For his part, Nick called Bobbi his sister.
Cissy is so concerned that Bobbi has become impressionable and therefore an easy target for Nick, she’s asking the Whitney Houston Estate to take legal steps to get him evicted from Whitney’s home — where Bobbi Kristina is also living.
Mediajuicejoint: All eyes were watching Papa Bear Bobbi Brown while the younger, sharper and more focused Piranha was eating his prey…..at night, and she’s sporting a possible engagement ring ….lights out.

He was just like a brother a minute ago, now he’s a homie lover friend…fiance???
Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law Patricia Houston left no stone unturned in describing to Oprah Winfrey the horrible series of moments in which she discovered the talented-yet-troubled music icon had died last month.
Patricia, who’s married to Whitney’s brother Gary, said in her appearance on Oprah’s Next Chapter Sunday that while the “handwriting was kind of on the wall” that the embattled Grammy-winner would suffer a premature death, the events of Saturday, February 11, still resonated with deep and shocking pain.
Patricia said she’d just finished a few chores when she went to see the I Will Always Love You singer in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where she was to attend Grammy-related festivities that weekend.
“I headed down the hallway … I heard screaming,” Patricia recalled, sobbing. “I saw [Whitney’s] makeup artist [Mary] drop to her knees and I knew something was wrong. I was just numb. I walked. I told her to dial 911.
“I got close, and I turned the corner, Mary was at the door, and she is screaming ‘Oh my God!’ I told her to stop and I said, ‘Calm down.”‘
Patricia said Whitney’s security guard Ray gave everything he had to try and help the fallen singer.
“When I got into the room I saw Ray trying to revive her to the point of exhaustion. I said, ‘Ray!’ — the paramedics were coming in at that point — I said, ‘Ray let it go.’ He said, ‘I tried.’ He was so out of breath, I felt so badly for him.”
Patricia said she saw Whitney lying in the bathtub, looking at peace.
“I don’t know how she got there — [paramedics] had to pull her out of the tub and were trying to revive her,” Patricia said, noting she struggled to leave the room during their resuscitation efforts.
“I saw them cover her up and I knew that was it. I knew that was it. Just looking at her and watching that I still could not believe it I could not believe it.”
“Were you always afraid of that day, February 11, showing up in your life?” Oprah, also weeping at this point, asked Patricia. “Were you always afraid of getting a phone call or hearing that this is the day that it’s happened?”
Patricia said, “If things hadn’t changed — but things had, were, changing. Things were really changing with her. Very much so … not this soon, I never thought anything like this would happen.”
Mediajuicejoint: Oprah did an outstanding job, the questions were straight forward and the Houston’s seemed at ease for such a crucial, painful, way to soon time….May God continue to provide comfort to the Family.
