Before ATL, people didn’t know about me. I auditioned for ATL and no one cared who I was. I was a regular girl in L.A. who auditioned and got the role. No one knew I was doing it and I did it. No one gave me that. I did that. They can’t take what they didn’t give. God has the last say, so I just trust that. Is it an uphill battle? Yes. But isn’t everything? I’m not starving.

VH1′s Love & Hip Hop NY Cast Are Officially On Strike

Love & Hip Hop NY cast are officially on strike. Half of the cast didn’t show up for taping of next season’s trailer. Contract renegotiation isn’t quite complete, as a matter of fact more money and more control is at the forefront of this debacle.

Do you think Mona Scott will budge and cave in to their demands, or is there time left on the clock for replacements?

According to Tmz Big trouble on the set of VH1′s “Love & Hip Hop, New York” … TMZ has learned, the stars of the show are refusing to go to work … and it’s all because they think they’re getting shafted in contract negotiations.

Sources close to the show tell us, all cast members were supposed to be present Tuesday in NYC to film a trailer for the upcoming season, but only half of the cast showed up. The other half stayed home in protest because negotiations for their new contracts had gone sour.

We’re told the half that did show up then got upset … believing they too were entitled to revised contracts … and stormed off.

We’re told most of the cast members want more money — as much as double their last contract — but there are other problems too … some are pissed at how they were portrayed last season and they want more say in what footage gets aired.

We’re told emergency meetings have since been called with the angry cast members … and they’re hoping to get what they want by the end of the week.

If they don’t … we’re told the cast members plan to stick to their guns and continue their strike for as long as necessary. We reached out to VH1 for comment — so far, no word back.

Archie Comics Character Kevin Keller Kisses A Boy

Archie Comics gay character Kevin Keller gets to kiss a boy……BOOM. This issue goes on sale Aug 7. The writer Dan Parent was inspired by The Million Moms attempted boycott to a previous issue No.16 regarding the dreadful word Marriage, so he pushed the envelope a little further and gave Kevin his very first pda….. a quick smooch with a boy.

It’s a just quick kiss, but it’s a long step forward for Archie Comics’ only openly gay character Kevin Keller. The Riverdale teen finds his life turned upside down after locking lips with his boyfriend, Devon, in Pop Tate’s diner, drawing the ire of at least one disapproving Riverdale mom. The woman “gets very offended and kind of pitches a bit of a fit,” said Dan Parent, who writes and draws the issue, “Kevin Keller” No. 10 that is released Aug. 7. “Kevin is kind of used to that, but Veronica records the whole thing and of course uploads it to the Riverdale equivalent of YouTube and that starts a bit of a debate,” said Parent.

For Archie Comics it’s a bit of art imitating life. Parent said he wrote the story after efforts to remove a comic magazine showing Keller getting married drew at complaints. One Million Moms, a project of The American Family Association, asked Toys R Us not to display “Life With Archie” No. 16 near its checkout aisles. Toys R Us did not, and the issue went on to sell out its print run. Parent called the new story a “playful poke” at the protest.

Publisher and co-CEO Jon Goldwater said the fact that any kiss is being shown in the pages of an Archie Comics book is a step in and of itself. “There aren’t that many on-panel kisses in the pages of Archie, but you often see the lipstick on Archie’s face afterward,” he said. Goldwater said Keller’s character has let the company weave in contemporary issues to its imaginary world. “We certainly pride ourselves on being contemporary, but that’s not the reason why we’re showing ‘The Kiss.’ Just like when Kevin first told Jughead he was gay, it was in the natural course of conversation,” said Goldwater. “We are creating this in the same way. It’s just part of the story.”

The invite to Kim K’s June 2nd bash — sent to a guest close to Kanye West — arrived as a fully functional music box, complete with a spinning ballerina … dancing to a lullaby version of Kanye’s “Hey Mama.”

Not only is the invite playing the baby daddy’s tune, but the ballerina bears a striking resemblance to Kim herself — just in case anyone forgets who this party is REALLY celebrating.

According to the invites, Kris Jenner, Shelli Azoff (wife of uber-manager Irving Azoff), Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are hosting the party. Recommended attire … garden chic. We think that’s rich people speak for casual.

Khloe Kardashian sticks up for Kimmy Cakes

Baby sister Khloe Kardashian has had enough of the criticism about her big sister Kimmy cakes.

Kim Kardashian announced she was pregnant months ago and since, she has been ridiculed for her weight gain. No lie Juice Joint, Kim has gained a lot of weight as if she was once a chubby chub in her younger days, but damn the woman is PREGNANT people! What do you expect?

So after Khloe got fed up with public opinions she spoke out the words which i’m sure Kim was wanting to say:

“I find it disturbing that society loves to critique a woman’s shape no matter how beautiful or happy she may be within herself. I am a first-hand victim to public attacking in regards to my body or appearance. This is low in and of itself. But I cannot tolerate one more vicious attack against my sister! MIGUEL KARATE JUMP KICKS AND LANDS ON FAN

Miguel should have been on the previous hit show “Jackass” with that stunt he pulled. While performing song “Adorn” on last nights 2013 Billboard Awards, Miguel karate style jumped over the stage and landed on a fan’s head. He immediately continued singing playing it off as if it was planned, but NO MIGUEL WE SAW YOU!

After Miguel realized the damaged he caused, he retreated backstage where the fan was to make sure she was ok, then later tweeted: “got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is ok”. Juice Heads we all know if Miguel would have picked the right one he would be getting prepared for a court date IMMEDIATELY, but he got off easy this time and still had a kick ass performance. Good job and watch your feet Miguel!

Chris Brown Getting Death Threats

Death Threats were made against famed singer Chris Brown, but that didn’t stop Breezy who was at full throttle as he kicked ass dancing to “Fine China”. After getting death threats many would have assumed he would lay low and sit this performance out, but it ain’t over to the fat lady sings, and hell he could have used her vocals last night.

Calls were placed to Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos’s office threatening Chris Brown’s life. Geragos notified LAPD immediately, filed a report, and provided them with the tapes.

Chris was in good spirits even though he went home empty handed, that’s right…. Chris lost Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Album to none other than his off and on boo Rihanna. Chris has been in the sh!t house lately from the Rihanna incident, Frank Ocean Incident, twitter meltdowns, and his ongoing feud with his neighbors over his art work plastered on his damn wall.

He may be off the wall, but he can dance his asz off ….check it out here
