The former CNN news anchor has branched out to the entertainment business to deliver the news and enlighten his people, and the 34 year old has done both very well. Tyler Perry is inking a multi million dollar deal with Own Network. He’s teaming up with Oprah to take over TV. Two moguls with brilliant colorful minds joining forces do you think they can take Own to the next level? Oprah’s Own Network has been struggling to stay afloat. This deal along with all the young hot celebrity interviews Oprah’s snagged for Own might be the raft she’s been desperately seeking. via The Root Hollywood’s highest-paid man and woman have joined forces, with Tyler Perry signing a deal to produce shows exclusively for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network, including two new scripted series set to premiere in mid-2013, CBS News reports. If the combined effort of these two wildly successful media moguls doesn’t get the network the ratings it’s been after, we don’t know what will.
This partnership could give the Winfrey-Perry team an unprecedented type of control over the images of (what we assume will be) black people on television. Can they handle it?

Sources connected with Nicki tell us … she’s convinced producers — along with member’s of Mariah’s team — are conspiring to get under her skin … because they think a pissed off Minaj will bring in viewers.

There’s just one problem with her theory — we know “Idol” producers were genuinely shocked and upset by Tuesday’s outburst. Our very connected “Idol” sources tell us the big wigs were completely flat footed and they are doing everything they can to restore peace — which they successfully did Wednesday.
As for conspiracies between producers and Mariah … we believe in the grassy knoll just like the next guy, but in this case Oswald did it alone.
Mjj says….I’m not to sure and quick to dismiss Nicki’s apprehensions and paranoia’s…it may not be all in her crazy pretty head, if Mariah’s first husband Tommy Mottola was capable of allegedly chasing Mariah to the looney bin, anything is possible. Steel Magnolias TV remake debut might be postponed if Victoria L. White, the executive producer of the 1989 film has it her way. She wants to be credited for her work and cashed out. White went to a judge to put a halt on the movie just days away from its big debut. According to Victoria, Sony pictures made an agreement with her prior to this film that she would receive proceeds on any film that coincides with her original film.
Mjj wants to know…..Why in the hell did it take so damn long for her light bulb to come on, and boy I bet she was shocked when that light finally shined and she saw an all black cast.
