On being a single-mom:
That I-can-do-it-by-myself mentality is a lie. I’m sorry if I hurt anybody’s feelings, but you cannot do it all by yourself. You need a village: some aunties, grandmoms, friends. I couldn’t do this by myself and would be a fool to think I could.”

On raising a young man:
It’s challenging being a single mom…No matter what I do, I’ll never be a man. Ever. I can show Jett how to be a thinker, how to enjoy music or how to feel, and to conquer. But I cannot show him how to be a man.”

On motherhood:
Motherhood is getting your hands and your feet in the soil…When Jett puts my face in his hands and tells me, ‘Mommy you’re so pretty’ or smells me, it’s so wonderful.”

On being sexy:
The way I see things, I think that’s sexy. The way I think and the way I pray, I believe, are very sexy. I’ve never been the girl with too few clothes on. My mother told me… ‘It’s what you don’t do that makes you sexy more so than what you do.’…”

Jet Magazine’s Chief Editor Landed A Death Blow To Fantasia’s Ego

Jet Magazine’s Chief Editor Mitzi Miller landed a death blow to Fantasia‘s ego. Fantasia conducted an interview with Jet that was recently published. Fanny was displeased to the fact that Jet decided to use an unflattering image of Fanny for their cover instead of choosing from the several images she provided.

Mitzi shot off a diplomatic public apology to Fantasia and her fans:

“JET magazine is honored to have Fantasia grace the cover of its March issue. It is unfortunate that Fantasia is displeased with the cover selection, however JET stands by its decision. As standard editorial practice, JET consulted with Fantasia’s team, but reserves the right to select the image we deem as most appropriate for JET’s brand and reflective of the cover story sentiment.

JET continues to root for Fantasia’s success and encourages her fans to pick up the new issue.”

but on the back end Mitzi took to her personal Facebook to unmask her true feelings:

“The fact that I wasted an hour of my workday writing a press release to address an issue created by a person who cannot even read it is just… #whyiwannaBahousewife.”

Mitzi’s lack of compassion and respect for others is causing her to eat crow, issuing out more apologies trickled with crocodile tears……all to save face and employment. This is what she had to say to Madame Noire:

“I apologize for the lack of sensitivity shown in my Facebook post. It was a thoughtless comment made during a moment of frustration. It was unprofessional and not representative of the JET mission, which is to uplift. I regret letting my emotions get the best of me. I am truly apologetic.“

Jet Magazine use to represent empowerment to our people but I guess since sales have been declining they are trying their best to stay in publication, and will do anything to remain in existence. They have conformed to eating their young and have become active participants in destroying African Americans who haven’t had the luxury to achieve higher education smh #crabsinabarrel
